By car into Passeiertal after moss direction Timmelsjoch to Timmelsjoch Bridge (1750m), here we go to Timmelsalm (2000m). Here turn right and climb over rolling trays to Kote to 2300m. Below the black lake it goes over the first flat Königshoflahn in, then left (Kote 2600m) steeply to below the Rötenferners (what's left of it). This right also holding the steep rise in the shallow basin and on to a saddle (3.205m). Over the partially exposed ridge to the summit of Botzem to 3.265m.

Conclusion: Long, beautiful scenic ski tour. The steep sections in the area of \u200b\u200bRötenferners require reliable snow conditions. The ridge is safe walking condition
